Operation and management of PIST6 GOODS SHOP

About current work

While working as a JPF employee, I am also working at PIST6 Co., Ltd. As the person in charge of operation and management of a shop that mainly sells original goods, I am involved in a multiple tasks as, manufacture and sale of original goods, cooperation with sales consignment companies, think about strategy and marketing, and data analysis.

Fun, rewarding, and difficult work

PIST6's business is unprecedented in the world, so the feeling of be in charge for the start up business is like opening up an uncharted road, and makes me feel rewarding and difficult. However, because it is a young project, I think that I have been entrusted with responsible work from the second year. Every day is a continuation of learning and it's hard, but it's fresh and fun.

After joining the company,
What do you think you have grown through your work?

I think I've learned to look ahead and take action. Considering the overall project outlook, budget, consideration of sales strategies according to the forecast of visitors, consideration of introduction of new products, etc., I often think over a span of several months or years. I have a habit of asking myself "how long does it take if I start this from now...?".

Future goals

One goal is to achieve the sales we are aiming for in the goods business. Also, personally, I would like to see people wearing PIST6 apparel in town someday!

What kind of company is JPF? What kind of employees do you have around you?

We have unique members, and I feel that there is a strong tendency to accept each other. Everyone at the office are friendly and they're always smiling. There are many people who have a vitality that will surprise me. I wonder where all that energy packed up from...?

What is the appeal point of JPF?

I think that ``If you actively raise your hand, you can do big work in a responsible position regardless of your year/age,'' and ``You can coordinate it by yourself''. In addition, all colleagues and bosses are friendly so you can feel free to chat, get advices from them.

What is JPF for you?

As a "challenge field".

Who would you like to work with?

People who enjoy change and want to gain the strength to persevere through difficult things. I think it would be a lot of fun to work with someone who has a mind as "I want to do that, I want to do this!" and having full of energy.

What would you say to those who want to work at JPF?

Regardless of whether you know or don't know about Keirin and cycling, and also if  your think "I want to try new things and would like to do some fun jobs! " , I would like  you to actively challenge yourself. I joined the company with the motivation of "I want to be involved in the sports business", but I can say without a doubt that I have had experiences that I would never have had at other companies. Let's create the future with us!
