We asked Kishi and Kiuchi about the BMX race course at Nagoya Keirin-jyo where they usually practice.

The two of them both mentioned "easy access" and "a course layout that is mindful of world standards."

Kiuchi is,
"In addition to being easily accessible from the station, it's a technically challenging course, which is rare in Japan. It has many elements similar to overseas courses, so I think it's a great environment to hone the skills needed to compete on the world stage."
He says.

Furthermore, the two expressed their hopes for the potential this course will bring to the future of Japanese BMX.

"By practicing on these technical courses from a young age, children can develop the skills to handle a variety of courses."

Furthermore, its proximity to Keirin-jyo and its easy accessibility mean that it can convey the appeal of the sport to people who have never had the opportunity to experience BMX before.

"I would be happy if more people became interested in BMX after watching it, and if more children started competing in the sport. I believe this kind of environment will lead to the development of BMX racing in Japan."

The Nagoya Keirin-jyo BMX race course is highly regarded by top-level athletes in Japan. It is expected to be a hub that supports the development of BMX in Japan, both in terms of improving competitiveness and promoting the sport.
