~Rice donation from esDGzOTAKI.EXE~

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone who was affected by the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and who were forced to live as evacuees, and our hearts go out to the victims and their bereaved families. I would like to express my deepest condolences. We are constantly searching for ways to help those affected by the disaster through the support we can provide, and we have recently announced that esDGzOTAKI.EXE, a three-person basketball team run by our group company JPFagri Co., Ltd., will be providing support for the recovery efforts. As part of this project, we have decided to implement the following project.

From January 20th, we will donate the same amount of Kagome rice grown by esDGzOTAKI.EXE to the Kanazawa Bushidan, a B3 professional basketball team active in Ishikawa Prefecture, the disaster-stricken area. We will deliver it to the evacuation center at Tazuruhama Gymnasium in Nanao City.
(Due to the fact that Yakib Titov, a member of esDGzOTAKI.EXE, belonged to the "Kanazawa Samurai Group" last year, we decided to support him this time.)
On January 22nd (Monday), we will be helping out with a soup kitchen at the Tazuruhama Gymnasium in Nanao City.

About esDGzOTAKI.EXE

esDGzOTAKI.EXE was established as a professional three-man basketball team in Otaki-cho, Chiba Prefecture, with a population of approximately 8,300. With the motto of ``becoming heroes of Otaki Town,'' the players moved to Otaki Town and are working on `` empowering the town'' and ``forming dual careers in agriculture and sports.'' We use abandoned farmland to cultivate our original brand of rice, Kagomai, and run a basketball school business.

About Kagome

The players themselves are producing their own original brand of rice, "Kagome," by borrowing rice fields that have become abandoned due to a decline in the number of agricultural workers. The name "Kagome" is a combination of "Kagokyu" (basketball) and "rice." The players of "esDGz OTAKI.EXE" do everything themselves, from planting the rice, harvesting it, naming it, and designing the rice bags. The sweet koshihikari rice is grown in the rich clay soil that is unique to Otaki Town, Chiba Prefecture, and is delicious even when cooled.
