A wide range of ages, from elementary school 6th graders to 79-year-olds, rode on the international standard 250m track. The "PIST6 Cycle Club" event was held at the Chiba JPF Dome.
Kisato Nakamura, who has experience representing Japan, provided guidance for group riding, and two returning participants achieved personal bests.
Japan Cycle Sports Promotion Association (JCSPA), a group company of JPF Co., Ltd., held the "PIST6 Cycle Club" event on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Chiba JPF Dome (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture).
In the morning, a "Skill-Up Practice Session - Group Riding Edition" was held to practically learn group riding techniques, and in the afternoon, a "Free Riding + Time Trial" was conducted on an international standard 250m wooden track, with a total of 23 participants ranging from 6th grade elementary school students to 79-year-olds.
Two returning participants achieved personal bests, and some participants also met the technical standards set by the staff, qualifying them to participate in the "Bunch Race Practice Session & Record Session" for competitive racers.

Participants ranged from 6th graders to 79-year-olds, representing a wide range of generations.
The youngest participant this time was a 6th grader participating for the second time, and the oldest was a 79-year-old returning participant. Most of the participants were from the Kanto region, but there were also participants from Aichi and Shizuoka prefectures, and each person approached the 250m track race according to their own experience and goals.
Kisato Nakamura, who has experience representing Japan, provides individual coaching.
Seven people participated in the morning's "Skill-Up Practice Session - Group Riding Edition". Through slalom riding, a 200m flying time trial, interval training, Keirin, and two-row rotation, they practically honed their sense of maintaining distance from other riders and adapting to the movements of those around them.
The instructor, Kisato Nakamura, has experience competing on the international stage as a member of the Japanese national Track Cycling. After Keirin race, she reviewed the filmed footage with the participants and gave personalized advice tailored to each person's riding. Participants commented that they appreciated being able to receive individual advice while watching the video.
In the "Skill-Up Practice Session - Group Riding Edition," staff will assess whether participants have acquired the skills to ride safely in a group. This assessment also serves as a stepping stone to advancing to the "Bunch Race Practice Session & Time Trial," which is held at the same Chiba JPF Dome and is closer to a real race. This program includes race-style practice and time trials where multiple athletes ride simultaneously.

In the afternoon, we'll be doing time trials to challenge our personal bests.
Sixteen people participated in the afternoon's "Free Practice + Time Trial" session. In addition to free practice, those who wished could choose one event from a selection of 200m flying time trial, 500m, 1km, 2km, and 3km, and compete for a timed run.
Two returning participants achieved personal bests, and there were also instances of participants celebrating their achievements with each other.
Participants commented, "It's great that they measure lap times," "The staff were friendly and made it easy to participate," and "I'd like to participate again in the future."

From trial riding to free riding, and then to group riding.
One of the participants this time started with a beginner-friendly "fixie bike experience session" and has progressed through to the "first 250m banked track class" and "free riding + time measurement" sessions. This time, they challenged themselves with the "skill-up practice session - group riding edition". With each participation, they are steadily increasing what they can do on the 250m banked track.
At PIST6 Cycle Club, we provide an environment where you can gradually progress from beginner-friendly trial sessions to free riding, group riding, and even practical training sessions.
We will continue to hold various classes every month. For details and registration, please see below.
