Announcement of the Establishment of the JPF Scholarship Program
[CEO Shuntaro Watanabe]
We have recently established a scholarship program for university rider, with the aim of supporting students who are dedicated to cycling so that they can build their future careers while balancing their studies and sports.
The value of sports lies not only in the results of competitions, but also in the ability to utilize the challenging spirit and leadership cultivated in the process in society. For most athletes, their life after retirement will be longer than the time they spend competing. We believe that developing human resources who can play an active role in society even after they retire from competition will increase the value of cycling and contribute to the development of sports as a whole.
In the career development of athletes, not only improving athletic ability but also deciding their future after retirement is an important issue. Through this scholarship program, we will create an environment where people with sports experience can demonstrate their abilities in society and expand the path for them to be continuously active.
We hope you will agree with the purpose of this program and support it. If you know of any university rider who need support, please let us know. Together, we can further increase the value of cycling.
