Kisato Nakamura Kisato Nakamura

Kisato Nakamura

Joined JPF in 2016. From an early age, she tried various sports, winning the national championship in competitive fin swimming. She took up cycling when she entered high school. Her competitive performance at high school and university was recognized, and she was selected for the Japanese national team. She contributed to Japan winning the first bronze medal in the women's team pursuit at the 2017 Track World Cup. She participated in the women's Track Cycling Madison at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. She retired from competitive racing at National Championships held in the same year. She currently uses her competitive experience to appear on YouTube as a PIST6 commentator. She is also involved in coaching and training cycling athletes, and works hard every day to promote cycling as a major sport. Kaji Tetsuki Kaji Tetsuki

Kaji Tetsuki

Joined JPF in 2018. JTU Paratriathlon Designated Athletes for Talent Development. He started cycling after winning his first Kansai cyclocross competition 2nd grade at elementary school. In his first year of junior high school, he suffered a serious injury to his right arm in an accident during training. With his strong mental strength, he worked on his rehabilitation, and the year after he was released from the hospital, he participated in a hill climb race and returned to competitive activities. In high school, he joined Cycling club and was selected as the prefecture representative by Hyogo cycling federation. While competing in the national high school athletics federation, he also participated in off-road races such as mountain bikes and won many prizes. Currently, in parallel with his own racing activities, he has launched the "UCI cx team". Based in the Netherlands, he supports the challenges of young cyclists and is also committed to nurturing the next generation. Yurie Kanuma Yurie Kanuma

Yurie Kanuma

Joined JPF in 2021. Although he was visually impaired due to congenital weak eyesight, he believed in his own potential and began competing in skiing in 2006. He placed 5th in the cross-country skiing event at the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics. He then switched to cycling, and won his first tandem event (two-seater) with Tanaka Mai at the 2014 World Championship Road Time Trial. He continued to make great strides, winning a silver medal in the same event at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics. His motto Keep on challenging and he continues to take on challenges, mainly in paratriathlon, without stopping his progress.
