Under the slogan "Making cycling a major sport," JPF Co., Ltd. is working to improve the competitive environment and develop human resources involved in Cycing sports.
In support of the idea of the "Athlete Development Pathway" advocated by Japan Cycling Federation management of Koei Kyogi venue foundation, JPF has been promoting outreach activities to help beginners and children become familiar with cycling and experience the sport while having fun, starting from Koei Kyogi Facilities (Chiba, Toyama, Nagoya, Matsusaka, Kyoto, and Sanyo) for which JPF is entrusted with comprehensive management. These efforts have been systematized and diagrammed by JPF in its own unique way as the "JPF Athlete Development Pathway."

[What is BMX racing?]
BMX racing is a bicycle sport in which multiple riders race simultaneously down a specially designed course with undulating slopes and banks, competing for the highest ranking. It requires explosive power, a sense of balance, and strategic skill, and taking up the sport from an early age helps build the foundations of athletic ability. It has also attracted attention as an official Olympic event, and is enjoyed by people of all ages around the world.

[Facility overview and role]
The facility will meet international standards and will be operated based on the following three pillars:

1. Promoting Cycing sports
This facility will create opportunities for people to get involved with bicycles. In addition to holding regular trial sessions for BMX beginners, we will also implement programs to teach safe riding techniques, lowering the barriers to using the facility and creating an environment where people of all ages can enjoy bicycles and BMX.

2. Nurturing future athletes
Based on the JCF philosophy, the facility provides opportunities for children to become familiar with BMX and off-road events from an early age. By riding on courses with a variety of uneven and varied terrain, children naturally develop a sense of balance and how to use their bodies. This provides the perfect training environment for children at a time when their athletic abilities are developing greatly, paving the way for future careers in a variety of bicycle Track Cycling, including track racing and Keirin. The facility also collaborates with the Nagoya Keirin-jyo "Cycle Club" to provide athlete development and training support.

3. A sports hub for international and domestic competitions
The facility is eyeing the possibility of hosting major domestic competitions such as the Junior Olympic Cup and National Championships, and is also scheduled to host the 2025 Asian rider- BMX Racing (challenge category) on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. It has also been tentatively selected as a venue for the 20th Asian Games to be held in September 2026.
In cooperation with the Organising Committee and the JCF, we will implement high-quality tournament management by staff with experience in international tournament management, and promote Nagoya as a world-class sports hub.

Aiming for the sustainable development of Keirin, we are promoting a bicycle promotion project that utilizes bicycle Keirin-jyo as bases for promoting bicycle racing.
BMX is easy to get into from an early age and allows children to acquire basic riding skills, making it an extremely effective entry point not only to cycling but also to all balance sports such as skateboarding and surfing. Through this facility, we will expand opportunities for children to experience BMX, leading to the development and strengthening of athletes in cycling and other sports. We also aim to produce top athletes from Nagoya and operate Keirin-jyo that develops together with the local community, while deepening ties with the surrounding area and becoming a facility that serves as a symbol of cycling-centered sports promotion and empowering the town.

We are extremely pleased that the long-awaited dedicated BMX racing course has opened next to Nagoya Keirin-jyo. BMX racing is one of the cycling disciplines that can be taken up by the youngest age groups, and this facility will be an extremely important base for developing the junior generation. We hope that this will lead to the development of other cycling disciplines, such as Track, mountain biking, and Keirin, as well as keirin. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the fact that Keirin-jyo is located next door, it will be a place where people of all ages, from local children to people of all ages, can get involved in cycling, providing opportunities for traffic safety education, learning basic skills, and sports exchange.
In addition to improving the physical aspects, we hope to also enhance the soft aspects such as school management, instructor training, and local events, and that the facility will become a model for the rest of the country.
